Port Dickson Day 3

Woke up early in the morning in anticipation of paintball only to find out that it was raining again. No paintball. ): Paintball had to be canceled.

Ran to the guy's tents to wash up as usual only to find them groggy with sleep. Pn. Chee came and lent us Brenda's umbrella. Thank you Brenda<3

It was still raining, my pretty sandals took the brunt of it. ):

Had breakfast then because Carm the daffy was starving, we went to the Watering Hole for a second breakfast. Carm ate a RM6 roti canai and gula Melaka. The gula Melaka was pretty good. Read about the tragic Bukit Antarabangsa, Ampang landslide and was horrified.

Headed back to the tepee to pack up. The drizzling still continued. ): We got on the bus at scheduled time and headed off. Post up lots of pictures now.

His shades. (:

What is he doing? o.O

OOOOoooooooOOOOOO!<3

Awwwww. (;

More pictures. (;

Fong Kah Jo. (:

We stopped at around 1 at this restaurant called PitStop. Really appropriate name. It was uber coooooool. It was like a game shop...with good food. You could rent games for RM5. They had all sorts of cool board games that you don't find in your average shopping mall. For example, Kill Doctor Lucky and Saboteur.

The cool toilet sign.

Ng Chong Sheng. (; Lim Jae Haan. <3

Our group ended up playing some game that involved cards and animal noises. Fun! (; I went from being Quack to Oink to Quackity Quack Quack. We finished the game and played Twister. Pure torture, babyjae inflicted it.

Chen and Kah Jo were playing this game. Its objective was to knock the head off the opponent's figurine.

Babyjae was trying to take a picture of me but the scenario was pretty much like that, arms, legs and BUTTS everywhere.

Took a group photo and got back on the bus. (: Babyjae and I talked about how much we were going to miss each other. ): And just like that, we were back at school in under 1 hour.

The same scenario as before we left for Port Dickson with them drinking their coconuts and me, my water. The only one missing was Babyjae. ):

And that was that. It was certainly memorable. The times we had. I know I'm late in uploading this post, but I'm doing this for myself, to preserve those precious memories. <3

Port Dickson 2nd day

Were forced awake at 730. ): Chen, Rach, Carm and I took our own sweet time and invaded tepee 6 to use their bathroom sink. OURS, wasn't working. ): So the poor guys had to wait for us while we cleansed and brushed and washed and what not.

Had breakfast at aroun 830 then we headed back to the campsite for games. The only way to describe the games is HARDCORE. There were 6 stations. First team to finish won junk food and the last team had to drink this disgusting concoction of soda, milk and soya sauce.

1st station - we had to carry water balloons between our legs to a chair and sit on them till they burst so that the bucket UNDER the chair could be filled with water. Dylan is the man!

2nd station - Had to do a split to blow out the candles that were lit inches away from us.

3rd station - Had to suck up JoFan's disgusting soda concoction and spit it into a cup.

4th station - Transfer marbles from one bowl to another with CHOPSTICKS. Kudos to Khang Yee.

5th station - Jes Cee's hall of torture. A horrifying mixture of flour, water, 100 plusand goodness knows what was created. We had to transfer the mixture from the bucket to a pail using our HAIR.

6th and final final station =D - the whole team had to stand in one line and each pair had ping pong balls held above the ground with their calves. the objective was to prevent the ball from dropping while we walked. Bargh.

After that, chen rach carm and I were trying to get the clumps of flour out of our hair. Jes cee becaming the victim of verbal abuse in our attempts to free our hair of wet, sticky flour. We went swimming after that! The guys played water polo.

Then, it was lunch. If I remember correctly, there was this nice brown and white malay kuih and sweet and sour fish. (: yumm.

Pictures during lunch.

AND I PRESENT TO YOU THE THREE STOOGES! Notice the same glassy look in their eyes? =D

After lunch, we went through a tiring enquiry about paintball. First they said we were underage so cannot, then they said big group can. Want money say so lah. =/ We finally paid our money and got a booking for 3pm. After much worrying about dirtying my shirt, Babyjae lent me what I know is one of his favourite shirts so I wouldn't get mine dirty. I felt pretty bad. I love you! (:

At first I thought could their vocab/grammar really me that bad? It should be catch them live!

Then I saw the full thing, pretty cool huh?

Just showing the shirt he lent me. (: Would have been quite appropriate if HE had worn it. It said LAST MAN STANDING.

Some pictures we took while waiting for Carmen to settle the bill so we could go to our tepees and change.

We went to the paintball place after that and went through a briefing. When the guy first pulled the trigger on the paintball gun and a gush of air burst out at a deafening blast, I was definitely taken aback. He was really funny but also really long winded. In the end, it started raining so we couldn't play. ): Postponed it to the next day and went for out treasure hunt.

The treasure hunt was quite disappointing though. I expected it to be something like The Amazing Race our school organized where you have to go to different places and complete challenging tasks before we were able to move on. In the end, it was just a few pieces of paper with pictures of certain items in the hotel. We were supposed to find where they were located. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a stroll in the park. It was actually really,really tough.

It was also drizzling at that time. We split up into groups. Being clique-ish I guess, we got into our normal group of people. What can I say, we did feel like outsiders. Me, Carmen, Rachel, Chen Lynn, Jae Haan, Dylan, Kah Jo, Ye Shan, Boon Keat, Dylan. We split up into small groups of three each with a piece of paper and we tried to find it seperately so we could cover more parts of the hotel in less time.

I was really, really not seeing the point of the game. Don't get me wrong, I do do stuff for the heck of it even though there is no prize or anything at the end of it. I'm realy competitive especially when it comes to physical activites. But, I was really moody due to the rain and I was feeling a bit sick. Babyjae, Carm and I set out.

We searched and searched and felt like such disappointments to our team mates because we couldn't find a single one and had to resort to asking hotel staff. The fella told us that one of the pictures was behind an obstacle course.

Guess what, the obstacle course was in the forest.

Remember when I said that the night walk in the forest was really scary? We walked over there and Carm and I were really scared to go in. Along came Choon Yit and Babyjae and him went in. I said, if youre not out in five minutes....

They weren't. Carm and I really panicked. We went in gripping each other's hands and stumbled along the path. We were getting really worried when we finally saw them. They were lauging and joking. ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH.

We all walked around the obstacle course and saw nothing even closely resembling the picture we had in hand. Epitome of frustration, truly.

We walked back to our meeting place at the appointed time. Was caught up in the frenzy of writing the answers. Our team won. That was really a surprise. (: Had mini celebration by eating Gardiner buns and ice cream. Babyjae bought THREE spicy tuna buns. Sometimes I think the boy is a bottomless pit.

Went back to tepee and Carm, Rach, Chen and I starte jumping around on the bed. Camwhored for a while with Rach's shutter mode in camera. Showered.

THEN, we started dancing to songs and screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs. I'm sure the people outside were problem going deaf.

Songs we danced to :
1. Low
2. Womanizer
3. Break The Ice
4. Cyclone
5. Sexy Back
6. Shake It
7. Dangerous
8. Piece of Me
9. Mamma Mia!
10. Dancing Queen
11. Honey,honey

Just to name a few. Diirrrty dancinggg babeh. (:

Went for dinner and the guys said they could hear us singing or rather screaming at the top of our lungs. Dinner was pretty good. After dinner, we went back to our tepees and talked for awhile. Babyjae and I snuck outside for awhile. We walked around in the dark and talked while everyone one was either laying mahjong or mafia in their own tepees. The field outside was completely
deserted.

We walked around and talked. <3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZuGWexhBH-uqEMqlox5mgzMylnPu38V7FBumRmYhHzY9C8gT19vsFgMOFFM9lWonqtU2b4VU2d6xWWXar_mcAtj8xbDKTLb40SyBYhNHH5MODG_7YhvNIVEkR17GiKVE5E85VM-dPpWk/s1600-h/DSC01584.JPG">

If you look closely, you'll see our shadows talking and hugging. (:

Went to his tepee for awhile. (: Then went back to mine. We played mafia for awhile. Carmen started getting really sick and she went to sleep. She told us to wake her up when we went to the Watering Hole which was a bar/restaurant. We wanted to go at 1030 so to beat the drunks that would come at around 1.

1030 rolled around and we headed out. We were famished and the stupid Watering Hole told us that the restaurant was closed and all we could drink that was non-alchocolic was Coke and Sprite. We were all grumbling over it after that and we left the Watering Hole. To his credit, the waiter was really,really nice and patient with us. Us, a bunch of kids.

Went to the hotel's minimart. Minimart it truly is. A very limited stock of junk food. Stocked up on maggi and went back to the tepee. Chen tried calling her mom at Tiara Beach to send over food. I have no idea how she thought that feat was going to be accomplished. It made sencse at that time though. No luck, we had to be content with our maggi. Carmen was craving for solid food though.

Went back to the guy's tepee. It was freaking clean! And it was 5 guys living under cramp conditions! Wowwww. They even boiled water for drinking unlike us who went out and bought because we didn't trust the tap water even after boiling. Suddenly, I felt very undomesticated.

A picture he took of me eating maggi.

Babyjae made my maggi for me and we sat down and chit chatted while eating Dylan's very delicious muruku from Raju's. After that, we decided to switch off the lights and dance. It was really fun and stupid, being wannabe clubbers. But we invented a dance to Mamma Mia! (;

We cooled down a little after that and everyone was getting bitten by bed bugs and Carmen and Babyjae's eyes started itching like mad. ): We played Confessions for awhile then Carm and Babyjae and I gave up and retreated to sleep. (;

Fell asleep on his chest. <3

Wednesday, 10 December 2008 @ 00:02

I just came back from Port Dickson. What can I say? It was really, really fun. I love my girls-Ng Chen Lynn,Carmen Chua Shar Min,Rachel Gan Li Zhen. Guys-Lim Jae Haan, Dylan, Ong Ye Shan, Fong Kah Jo, Khoo Boon Keat. I will provide a day to day account. So if you're looking for a quick read, don't continue.

1st day

Lim Jae Haan and I got into a stupid fight because I was running late. I told mommy and daddy that I had to be there at 11 because I was meeting my friends. Mommy and daddy took their sweet time and we LEFT at 1110. I met up with Carmen and Chen Lynn at the bus stop outside my school. Conversation below. Carmen , Me.

Where are you?!

I'm reaching!

Hurry up!

Are you inside school?

No. We're at the bus stop, we look like stranded travellers! Come now!

I'm coming down the road lah.

WHERE?!

The Honda Accord!

OH! THATS YOU AH! *proceeding to jump up and wave madly*

That is typical Carmen. I got to the bus stop and met up with Chen Lynn and Ye Shan. Carmen and I synchronized our outfits. (; After that, we dumped our luggage in school and proceeded to Kanna. Carmen : People won't steal our luggage right?! Lim Jae Haan came along and I was forgiven. *big smile*

We hung out in Kanna for awhile and I stole Babyjae's food. (: Stocked up on some Rocky, V-Soy and Chipsmore at 711. Not too much because we thought the prices were outrageous. Hah! Little did we know there was only one very limitedly stocked convenient store at the hotel. We then met up with Rachel. I thought her shirt said Gay Varsity*ooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy* and then I found out it was Gap. =/

Walked into school and 4 of us realized we were the only ones wearing shorts. *awkward moment* Throughout the whole trip, much beginning from this moment, Chen Lynn, Rachel and I felt really ostracised from the 3A2 students. Not to blame them but we just got the feeling that we weren't welcomed and they really were NOT happy to have us on the trip. But whatevs!

We got on the bus on schedule and passed the time listening to songs. I have developed a liking for the song Cyclone. We arrived at 4 and went to out tepees. Tepees are rooms with a tent over them in the open field. I panicked at first thinking we had to sleep on grass and all that but Carmen reassured be that there is a hotel room in the tepee, the tent is just for design purposes.

Involuntary pictures on the bus. =/

Chen Lynn's super straight hair.

We were waving hello to the cars behind us. At first this same car behind us waved back. It probably got annoying after awhile. We WERE in a jam after all. =)

Our tepees! (:

Rachel with our huge, authentic looking wooden key. (: TEPEE 5. WOOOOOOO! =D We rock no matter what you say! (:

The girls and I hung out spent our free hour by trying on swimsuits in the gift shop. They weren't that expensive! Seriously. (We had to wear swimsuits into that impossibly clean pool. Did I mention the jacuzzi was cold. Whoever heard of a cold jacuzzi?!)We bought our swimsuits and went for games. What originally was supposed to be a whipped cream balloon fight turned into a full fledged water balloon fight and into a water fight and into a grabbing-bucket-to-get-more-water fight. It was girls against guys naturally. No losers of course, but girls rock more! (;

We then proceeded to go to the pool. Chen Lynn developed this piggy back water game. Carmen on hers, Rachel on mine. Chen Lynn and Carmen won. To my credit, Carmen is the smallest and lightest of all of us! No pictures, to state the obvious. No underwater camera, to state the obvious. It was fun. Thanks Hong Jie for lending me your extra pair of goggles. (:

We pulled on shirts and shorts and went to dinner without showering. The food wa not nice. No offense but I don't like Malay food. The more traditional kind I mean with the weird herbs. One man's meat is another man's poison I guess. My tastebuds don't work the same way. The reason for Malay food was because the hotel was having their Kampung Carnival or something that day.

Girls and I went back to the tepee to change into nightwalk gear and hang out forawhile. Babyjae came over. (: We played I NEVER with cheesecake and ended up with stomachaches. It was really fun.

Jae pulled out all the stops and came out with the classic I've never worn a bra. He WAS the only guy with four girls there so naturally easy for him to kenakan us.

Me : I've never worn contacts. (: Everyone had to eat too. Ah,the perks of not having a major sight problem.

We went for the nightwalk after that. It was really scary. We all had to hold hands and Chen Lynn and I were cursing the water bottles we brought. We were holding onto each other's hand for dear life. Really scary. No pictures. In the forest and night! =/ spooookyyyyy. Not to mention the guide said, make sure you come out with 38(which was the number of poeple in our group) and not 39! =X

We bumped along bending when the guide told us tobend and avoiding sticks and roots on the ground. It was not fun! But we walked at the beach once and the sound of waves is really soothing. Did I mention my perfect date would be on a beach at night? Thats another story for another time.

Stumbled out of the forest with scary experiences, relief, exercise and 38 people! We rock! =D

Khang Yee, Boon Keat, Dylan, Kah Jo, Ye Shan, Jae Haan, Chen Lynn, Carmen, Rachel and I were in our tepee playing Mafia after that. Fun fun fun (: Babyjae and I got some alone time after that. (:

The girls went to bed at about 230. I was messaging Babyjae when he told me to come out for awhile to talk. We sat on the doorstep and talked and hugged and watched the stars. It was really sweet. I love you Babyjae for sacrificing yourself to the mosquitoes and talking to me making sure I felt cared for and loved. <3

We went in after awhile and stayed on the mattress while the other girls were sleeping ont he bed and hugged. I fell asleep for a little while in his arms. <3 At about 530 I shooed him out and went to sleep. I love you, it was one of the most memorable nights in my life for me. <3 Having your arms wrapped around me and feeling like we were the only two people in the world.

Thats my account of the first day. Sleepy time now. Will update more tomorrow if I can. Am headed off to YF camp on Wednesday. December is a busy busy month. Not to mention my birthday plans which are not yet set. =/ Byeeeeee. (: Drop a comment if you can.
