Yes people. I know I seldom update. I'm surprised that my blog actually still has visitors. Made my day. i tell you, The Body Shop marketing campaign very chun what with all the recycling and natural beauty crap.

To quote Carmen, everytime I go into body shop, they make me feel like what I'm buying is very worth it.


When you come out though,. your money has dwindled to virtually nothing yet you still feel on top of the world for about 5 minutes then you realize that you don't know the value of money. I tell you ah, Body Shop brainwash people. But I love their scented body wash. Please buy me that people. I bake brownie for you. (:

The second photoshoot has left me looking like a zombie.

My life at the moment is like a rollercoaster ride, literally, with its peaks and pits.

I have an amazing grandomother who buys me kripy kreme.

Hello. I am sick.

I'm better today but yesterday. I used up 2 rolls of toilet paper on my nose. It's one of those times where all you wished for your birthday was boxes of tissue paper. Just spent the better part of the morning updating my blog. =/ Mummy wants me to look up Coach bags for her. pfff.

Ode to my JS Exclusive Hair Series 67 Ion Perm shampoo.

I have decided to dedicate this post to shampoos that I've used throughout my life.

When I was 8 ( as far back as I can remember) I used Sunsilk. It seemed like the greatest shampoo on earth to me back then. I tried all the different types of Sunsilk and particularly liked the pink one and the blue one. (: the blue one had a picture of a girl with short hair and daffodils on the front. It was so sweet smelling and I didn't have problems with dry hair at all.

I used to bathe under a tap in my bathroom which I shared with my parents back in our old house because I simply loved the cold water. At 10, I developed dandruff. It was disgusting. I would have white flakes on my shirt. But I continued to use Sunsilk anyway. I had a long love affair with Organics conditioner but sadly, it was pulled off the market when Uniliver(the supplying company) relocated to Japan. I used Kharenee's method of combing out the shampoo in my hair with a comb while showering to reduce the dandruff. It helped.

I used a shampoo designed for swimmers for awhile because I went swimming every evening. Hence the broad shoulders (butterfly). It was extra strong to wash out all traces of chlorine. It made my hair dry. I was crestfallen because I had always had silky hair as a child.

At 11, I fell in love with these two bottles of berry and strawberry scent shampoo. They came in those gift toiletry packages. Needless to say, they smelt mouth wateringly sweet and light. I would spend an hour in the bathroom. I infused the water with the shampoo and soaked my hair in the concoction for well over half an hour while lying on the cold bathroom floor just to try and capture the scent in my hair. It is a wonder I didn't catch a cold!

At 12, I contemplated using Pantene. It never worked out. Sunsilk was still my pick.

At 13, I made the drastic switch to Herbal Essence. Its heavy scent was intoxicating and it left my hair feeling silk straight the whole day. Carmen used to comment on how great my hair smelt when she sat next to me in the science lab. :D I believed that I would be with this shampoo for a long time. But it didnt work out, it made my hair dry after about 4 months. I believe it was just too strong.

At 14,I switched to JS exclusive, a salon shampoo. It was actually for coloured hair but because my mommy had an extra bottle, she gave it to me. It didn't work miracles but at least my scalp didn't feel itchy and dry.

At 15, I used a combination of Organics shampoo in the afternoon and occasionally JS. (: Those who know me well enough know that I don't go home right after school because it is too far. Instead, I go to my aunt's house and have lunch, do homework, sleep etc until my parents avail themselves to send me home. I used Organics there.Organics is amazing but sadly not on the market anymore. My uncle used to work for Uniliver thats why he had some stock left over. At home, I remained faithful to my JS. I purchased a new JS (the very first line of this post). It actually is meant to for people with rebonded/straightened hair but the saleslady recommended it because I had naturally straight hair. Nen Lin introduced me to her pink Sunsilk leave in conditioner. (:

This year, my loyalty to my JS was renewed when I really took the time to rub the shampoo into my scalp and condition my hair every night. It was truly effective. I use Dove in my aunt's house occasionally. Most of the time, I would wait until I got home to use my JS. Dove is pretty good too, I guess. My hair always looks good when there is a change of shampoo. I also have looked to the nennen recommended Sunsilk leave in conditioner. The pink one with erm, yoghurt extracts? Delectable! (:

Yesterday, I ran out of my JS. I went to the hair and beauty shop to purchase yet another last-me-for-a-year 1000ml worth of JS. The lady recommended me La'Belle 2. I have decided to try it out.

I am naming my shampoo Bella. (: It is very nice smelling and suits me exactly. :D I know you cannot smell it but I can ! (:

To quote the hair lady (i mean sales person) : zhe ge bi jiao hao liao.

In english, this has better um, ingredients?

I have used it for the first time and as I am typing this post, my hair is silky and smooth again. Good omen? I think so. Or is it just the change.

Hopefully my Bella will be my true, long lasting friend who will serve me well just as my dermalogica clay cleanser and push up bras have.

HAPPY 23rd MONTHLY ANNIVERSARY TO BABYJAE AND ME. (: <3

I had 4 periods of relief today. FOUR. and guess what? I thought today would be such a busy day that I did not bother to bring workbooks to school.

End result : Standing around staring into space. And making hand signals across the school to babyjae's class which kah jo so charmingly misinterpreted as a rude sign ie middle finger.

and its going to be ANOTHER saturday spent at school. ):

nobody wants to watch shopaholic with me. ): hit me up if you do. 

&& I'm going to rant...

Today right. not just today okay.

I have 2 friends. They do everything together so i like left out left out lorh. So right, everytime I walk back from lab alone LORH. Some more, friend 2 supposed to be 1 of my best friends, treat me like backup friend loh sometimes. So right, perasaan saya selalu tersinggung. But I put happy happy face, and right, I was really pissed off today. When in conversation with friend 1 and friend 2, suddenly friend 1 stand up.

"Friend 2, I want to talk to you outside alone."

Walauei. At least right, you dont leave me alone with 3 guys without any explanation right while you stand outside talking and laughing. 

Friend 2, you also know what it feels like right. You rant to me constantly. So i try to include you when I do stuff, and what do I get in return? 

By the way right, thats what I did in the 4 periods relief. Try not to let my feelings show and keep a POKERFACE. Luckily I had this majlis anugerah cemerlang raptai to go to. 

&& I ranted a lot.

Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings(friend1, friend2) but blogs are supposed to be like online diaries anyway. So who cares loh.

My room is a complete and utter mess. I am so lazy to take a picture of it. 

1. The laptop, hairdryer and charger share the same plugpoint so they are all tangled up on the floor.

2. I have 4 bags stacked up on my floor.

3. My study table as a giant, messy pile of books.

4. I have bras, sloggi freebies, comics, dvds, bags bottle and hairbrush on my bed. 

5. I am lying in my jammies with my annoying fringe pushed up and snuggling in my blanket as I am typing this.

Who said relaxation could get any better. (: Off to watch Marley and Me.

I shall now update on my cockroach killing spree at Hui Li's place.

I went to HuiLi's house for a harmless sleepover and to do addmaths in preparation for the coming exam. I arrived at her place at 9.30pm. We went online and harassed people for awhile, checked out blogs and then began on our add math.At around 1.30am am, we went down stairs to have like heart to heart talk over cookies and milk.

2am is when the horror began! Hui Li and I went up to her room and Hui Li decided she had to answer nature's call. She went to the bathroom, switched on the light and a behold, a cockroach! If you know me well enough, you'd know cockroaches are one of my biggest fears.

Hui Li and I jumped on the bed screaming. We were terrified and being such girls. The cockroach ran under the sofa in her room. We eventually got off the bed and tentatively tiptoed toward the bathroom to get a mop to get the cockroach out. Hui Li's house convieniently has no Shieldtox! (health reasons)

We tried to get the cockroach out from under the sofa but it was no where to be found. I was really freaked and jumpy.

Never mind lah. I very tired, Going to sleep now. its okay wan lah, just make sure you close your mouth.

How can you sleep with a cockroach in the room?

I very tired lah. *switches off the light*

So I had no choice but to go to sleep. I couldn't sleep and was very restless and kept dreaming. Then at 6am I woke up and went to the bathroom and there was the cockroach! I grabbed a stack of Hui Li's theory papers, roleed them up and started chasing the cockroach around the bathroom.

When I finally hit it, i hit it again and again like about ten times until it was totally flattened to make sure it was dead. I was so happy after that. Can sleep peacefully. Then I pulled out my phone and woke my babyjae up to tell him all about it.. I also sent a msg to my bro and dad waking them up telling them I'd finally overcome my fear and killed a cockroach.
